Make sure that the suction source you are using for dust collection is not plugged and allows air to freely move through it. &#xA0;Check for clogged filters or hose kinks.2. Verify that the suction source is correct for a miter saw application. &#xA0;We&apos;ve found that if customers connect their new dust collection chutes to a large dust collector (high CFM) usually via a reduction from a large hose (4&quot; or larger) the performance will be greatly reduced. &#xA0;We recommend using a smaller suction source such as a shop vac or dust extractor. &#xA0;These typically have lower CFM but produce much higher static pressure.3. Make sure there is not anything is the pathway from the wood you are cutting to the opening of the dust collection attachment. &#xA0;The most common culprit for this is a zero clearance fence on your miter saw. &#xA0;The narrow opening for the blade is not large enough to let the dust particles make their way into the suction stream.4. The speed and direction of the cut can play a big role in the overall dust collection efficiency. &#xA0;Cuts made with a quick chopping motion will usually produce more sawdust spray than a slow and controlled cut. &#xA0;For sliding miter saws we also always recommend to extend the saw out, plunge into the work piece and then push the saw back towards the rear during the cut. &#xA0;This &quot;push cut&quot; will allow more sawdust to get captured as a result.If you&apos;ve tried those quick troubleshooting steps and are still not seeing much improvement, please reach out to us via email at <a href="mailto:support@shopnationstore.com">support@shopnationstore.com</a>&#xA0;so we can provide some technical assistance.

Unfortunately our miter saw dust collection products will only work with the exact saw model numbers listed in the product description. &#xA0;If you do not see your saw&apos;s make/model, then unfortunately we don&apos;t have a solution for you (yet). &#xA0;You can simply search for your saw model number via the site search feature (magnifying glass towards the top right of the screen) to see if we have a compatible product.We&apos;ve found that the dust collection attachments are extremely specific to the saw and unfortunately there is not much crossover between brands and models.We are always looking to develop products for popular saw models and hope that at some point we&apos;ll have something for you. &#xA0;The best thing you can do is join our email list where we share updates on product development and other helpful workshop tips!
